It has benefits of making the procedure less complex with low cost. ![]() Local anesthetic (LA) infiltration has been used popularly in medical thoracoscopy. ![]() Medical thoracoscopy is a minimally invasive, simple, and safe method to facilitate performing multiple thoracic interventions. Medical thoracoscopy describes the evaluation of the pleural space in nonintubated patients, and it is the “gold standard diagnosis” of pleural effusion, especially the exudative one. ![]()
